Wyrallah Road Public School is a Kindergarten to Year 6 primary school located in Lismore on the Far North Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

The school was opened on the 19th November, 1954 with classes commencing in February, 1955. There were 284 students in 8 classes. The original teachers were:

Mr S W Chad (Headmaster)
Mr R G Denning (Deputy Headmaster)
Miss N Hammond
Miss P Reber
Mrs F Playford
Mrs E Armstrong
Mr J O'Donoghue
Mr R Sargeant
Mrs S Chad (Sewing Teacher)

The school community quickly established various support groups, which are still in operation today like the Parents & Citizens Association and the Canteen and Fund-raising Groups. Traditionally, the school had a fete each year as a major fund-raiser; the local community has always supported this and many other activities organised for the school.

Enrolments have varied over the years - in 2007, there is an enrolment of over 500 children aged between 5 and 12 years in 20 classes. It is expected that student numbers will remain around this level in the near future.

The School Community has agreed on a Statement of Purpose for the school, which is:

Wyrallah Road Public School Community provides opportunities for quality teaching and learning, relevant to the individual in a supportive environment.

This supports the School Motto: Growth Through Happiness, which reflects the overall ambience achieved at Wyrallah Road Public School.
