The children at our school go
on a variety of excursions throughout the year that everyone enjoys
immensely.
In Term 4, all Year 6 students travel to Sydney and Canberra, or
alternatively, to south-east Queensland. This is an annual excursion that
all the students enjoy even though it's a long trip from Lismore. |

Canoeing at Camp Koinonia

A number of short-term excursions to local camps like the local Sports and
Recreation Centre at Lake Ainsworth, Lennox Head or Camp Koinonia or Midginbil
Hill. These camps involve students in many outdoor activities like
rainforest studies, canoeing and climbing.
Year 4 students had a 2-day trip to Dorroughby Field Studies Centre. This
also involved rainforest studies and many other fun activities. |

The junior classes have
excursions to local places that don't involve a stay overnight. Some
classes visit Fleay's Fauna Reserve on the Gold Coast, while others visit
local farms and businesses. |
